There are several ways to get to Paros Island:
By Air
Paros has its own airport (Paros National Airport) which is connected to Athens International Airport and some other Greek cities. You can take a domestic flight from Athens or other major cities to Paros. The flight duration is approximately 30 minutes.
By Ferry
Paros is well connected to other Greek islands and mainland Greece by ferry. There are regular ferry services from Athens (Piraeus Port) to Paros, with a travel time of around 3-5 hours, depending on the type of ferry. Ferry services are also available from other islands like Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos, and Crete.
By High-Speed Catamaran
If you prefer a faster journey, high-speed catamarans operate between Paros and Athens (Piraeus Port), as well as other islands like Mykonos and Santorini. The travel time by high-speed catamaran is shorter compared to regular ferries, usually ranging from 2-4 hours.
By Private Yacht or Boat
If you have access to a private yacht or boat, you can sail to Paros and moor at the island’s ports or marinas. Paros has several marinas that provide docking facilities and services for private yachts.
Once you arrive at Paros, you can explore the island by renting a car, scooter, or ATV, or by using the local bus network. Paros also has a well-developed taxi service.
